Hairul Abral got doctoral degree (Dr.-Ing.) at University of Erlangen-Nuernberg, Germany, 1998. Until now, he is a lecturer as a Professor at Mechanical Engineering, Andalas University. From 2000-2008, he was Head of Mechanical Engineering, at this University. From 2012-2016, he was Dean of Engineering Faculty, Andalas University. He was actively involved in amount of International Seminar related to his researches, and has published many international articles, as author, correspondence author, coauthor, published in reputable journal with high impact factor indexed by Scopus, and Thomson Reuters. Also, Hairul Abral was invited as international external examiner, and reputable international journal reviewer.
