Visa Application
There are 10 types of Visa in total:

 Non-Immigrant (ED) Attend seminar or training courses in Thailand / To study in Thailand

 Non-Immigrant (O) Other purposes such as visiting or accompanying relatives in Thailand
 Non-Immigrant (OA) Only for the person who 50 years of age and above (Employment in Thailand is prohibited)
 Diplomatic Only for diplomatic or official passport holders who will assume duties in Diplomatic Mission or International
 Organization in Thailand or who will enter Thailand on official duty
 Official For those who will enter Thailand on official duty or as guest of the Thai government or other purposes
 Courtesy For those who will enter Thailand on official duty or as guest of the Thai government or other purposes

Visa Exemption (for Ordinary Passport)
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, about 48 countries and regions are eligible to enter Thailand without visa:

South East Asia: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos#, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam#;
Northeast Asia: Hong Kong#, Japan, Republic of Korea# (90 days), Macao#, Mongolia#;
Middle East: Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Oman#, Qatar, United Arab Emirates;
Africa: South Africa;
Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherland, Norway, Portugal, Russia#, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland (including Lichtenstein), Turkey, United Kingdom;
America: Canada, United States of America;
Latin America: Argentina# (90 days), Brazil# (90 days), Chile# (90 days), Peru# (90 days)
Australia: Australia, New Zealand

Remarks:
1. The period of stay granted at the time of the landing permission will be "90 days" for Republic of Korea, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Peru, and "30 days" for other countries and regions.
2. Countries and regions with a superscript “#” are eligible to enter Thailand with various purposes and others are only applicable to Tourism purposes.

Visa on Arrival
According to the Interior Ministerial Announcements, passport holders from the following 20 countries and regions may apply for visas at the immigration checkpoints for the purpose of tourism for the period of not exceeding 15 days:
Andora, Bulgaria, Bhutan, China, Cyprus, Ethiopia, India, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan

Documents required:
1. Passport with validity of more than 6 months together with an application form and a passport size photograph (2 inches);
2. Cash 10,000 (person) or 20,000 (family) Thai Baht or equivalent amount that will be randomly checked by the Immigration officers;
3. Round trip air ticket not exceeding 15 days.

Lists of countries and regions entitled for Visa Exemption and Visa on Arrival to Thailand

List of countries which are declared as Yellow Fever Infected Areas
The Ministry of Public Health has issued regulations that applicant who has travelled from or through the countries which have been declared Yellow Fever Infected Areas must provide an International Health Certificate proving that they have received a Yellow Fever Vaccination.

The International Health Certificate must be submitted together with the visa application form. The traveler will also have to present the said certificate to the Immigration Officer upon arrival at the port on entry into Thailand. As for those nationals of the countries on the list but who have not travelled from/through those countries, such a certificate is not required. However, they should possess concrete evidence showing that their domicile is not in an infected area so as to prevent unnecessary inconvenience.

List of Countries which are declared Yellow Fever Infected Areas

Nationalities which require special visa application channel
National of certain countries requires special channel of visa application; some are required to apply for visa only at the Royal Thai Embassy or Royal Thai Consulate-General in their home/residence country or at the designated Thai Embassy. Therefore, travelers are advised to contact the nearest Thai Embassy or Consulate-General to find out where and how they may apply for visa to Thailand before their departure.

Invitation Letter
PCM 2019 will assist attendees with the VISA process by providing the Invitation Letter. Following are some important information:

1. The invitation letter from the organizing committees will be sent upon the request only when you register successfully. Once your registration is completed, please contact pcm@cpcmconf.org to request a personalized letter of invitation;
2. Your name must be listed exactly as it appears on your passport. Any differences between the name on your passport and the name on your invitation letter or other documentation could lead to a delay and/or denial of your visa.
3. As time will be taken for visa application, it is advised attendee to check as soon as possible with the Thailand consular services in local country to know the list of documents required and the waiting period to obtain visa.
4. Please note that the PCM 2019 is NOT authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the Invitation Letter. The invitation letter may help but cannot guarantee you a Thailand Visa.

PCM 2019 will not be held responsible in case of refusal of visas by the Thailand authorities. The registration fee cannot be refunded.
