Speech Title: Functional Ceramics/Polymer films by Photo Reaction of Chemical Solution Process for Flexible Devices
Abstract: To construct low carbon society more and more in the world, it is necessary to develop a high performances new green device such as a solar cell, a lithium battery, a power semiconductor, and light emitting diode (LED) lighting, superconducting device and so on. Recently, from the viewpoint of the superior in flexibility and light weight, especially, flexible new green device has much attention more and more. Metal oxides would be expected to be key materials for a new green device because of its various functions such as prominent electrical /optical /magnetic properties. For this aim, we developed photo-induced chemical solution process such as excimer laser-assisted metal organic deposition (ELAMOD) and photo reaction of nanoparticles (PRNP) for the functional ceramics film on polymer substrate. By using the PRNP process, ITO, resistor and phosphor thin films were prepared on PET and PI substrates. The flexible luminescent film show higher luminescence compared with commercially available one.
In this presentation, we demonstrate a preparation of flexible ITO, RuO2 and phosphor thin films on polymer substrates.
