How to go to Xihu Hotel

1. From Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (In Chinese: 广州白云国际机场)
(A) By Metro: about 1 hour and 20 minutes
    • Take the North Branch of Line 3 (orange colour) at Airport South (机场南站).
    • At the 12th stop (Tiyu Xilu) (体育西路站), transfer to the Main Branch of Line 3 (orange colour) towards Tianhe Coach Terminal (天河客运站).
    • Alight at the 4th Stop (Wushan)(五山站).
    • Exit from Exit C and walk towards the west (to the right hand of Exit C; do not cross the road).
    • Walk for about 600 meters until you see the main gate of South China University of Technology (SCUT) and then walk for another 700 meters to Xihu Hotel.

    About 31 kilometers, 40 minutes of driving without traffic jam.

2. From Guangzhou South Railway Station (Colloquially “South Station”, in Chinese: 广州南站)
(A) By Metro: about 1 hour and 10 minutes
    • Take Line 2 (blue colour) towards Jiahewanggang (嘉禾望岗) at Guangzhou South Railway Station.
    • At the 8th stop (Changgang) (昌岗站), transfer to Line 8 (dark green colour) towards Wanshengwei(胜围).
    • At the 4th stop (Kecun) (客村站), transfer to Line 3 (orange colour) towards Tianhe Coach Terminal(天河客运站).
    • Alight at the 7th Stop (Wushan) (五山站).
    • Exit from Exit C and walk towards the west (to the right hand of Exit C; do not cross the road).
    • Walk for about 600 meters until you see the main gate of SCUT and then walk for another 700 meters to Xihu Hotel.
(B) By drive or taxi
    About 26 kilometers, 35 minutes of driving without traffic jam.

3. From Guangzhou Railway Station (In Chinese: 广州火车站)
(A) By Metro: about 45 minutes
    • Take Line 5 (red colour) towards Wenchong (文冲) at Guangzhou Railway Station.
    • At the 7th stop (Zhujiang New Town) (珠江新城站), transfer to the Main Branch of Line 3 (orange colour) towards Tianhe Coach Terminal (天河客运站).
    • Alight at the 5th Stop (Wushan) (五山站).
    • Exit from Exit C and walk towards the west (to the right hand of Exit C; do not cross the road).
    • Walk for about 600 meters until you see the main gate of SCUT and then walk for another 700 meters to Xihu Hotel.

    • At the 2nd stop (Tiyu Xilu) (体育西路站), transfer to the Main Branch of Line 3 (orange colour) towards Tianhe Coach Terminal (天河客运站).
    • Alight at the 4th Stop (Wushan) (五山站).
    • Exit from Exit C and walk towards the west (to the right hand of Exit C; do not cross the road).
    • Walk for about 600 meters until you see the main gate of SCUT and then walk for another 700 meters to Xihu Hotel.

    • Transfer to the Main Branch of Line 3 (orange colour) towards Panyu Square (番禺广场)
    • Alight at the 1st Stop (Wushan) (五山站).
    • Exit from Exit C and walk towards the west (to the right hand of Exit C; do not cross the road).
    • Walk for about 600 meters until you see the main gate of SCUT and then walk for another 700 meters to Xihu Hotel.
